# Storykit alternative (2026): Storykit vs RecruitmentAds

Storykit turns source material you supply (a blog post, a press release, a job ad you paste) into on-brand videos, carousels and static posts for the whole company. RecruitmentAds does one job: it takes a live vacancy URL and returns the ad set for that role, video in every standard format plus matching statics, sized for Meta and LinkedIn. Both tools hand you files rather than publishing for you, so the real question is what you get back and how much work is left. RecruitmentAds is also the easier of the two to price before you talk to anyone: its plans and 90-day pilot totals are published, while Storykit quotes per seat or per production volume after a meeting (verified 5 August 2026).

What each tool is

## Storykit

Storykit is a Stockholm text-to-video platform, founded in 2018 and backed by a $10M growth round led by Expedition Growth Capital in December 2021. You give it written source material (an article, a newsletter, an FAQ, a press release, a job ad), write a script in the app, or upload an audio file for it to transcribe, and it builds on-brand videos, social carousels, static images and text posts, then reformats any video for another channel in a click. Employer branding and recruitment is one of six named use cases, and it is a real one: a dedicated use-case page, 11 named recruitment script templates, an interlinked recruitment blog cluster, and recruitment case studies with numbers Storykit reports itself (Primetals Technologies: +60% completed applications; PostNord: 40 recruitment videos in one month). Customers named on its site include Canon, Skandia, PostNord, Länsförsäkringar and the City of Stockholm.

## RecruitmentAds.com

RecruitmentAds.com makes recruitment ad creative and nothing else. You give it a live vacancy URL or the job text; it pulls the title, requirements, perks, logo, fonts and brand colours into a locked template and returns an on-brand video in 9:16, 4:5 and 1:1 with matching static ads, plus AI voice-over written from the job text. One credit is one finished creative set for one vacancy. Visuals come from one of three sources, and marketing decides per template which ones recruiters may use: AI-generated scenes built from the job description, real approved employee photos placed in on-brand layouts, or approved assets only with no AI-generated people. RecruitmentAds publishes nothing on your behalf; the exports go into your own Meta and LinkedIn accounts.

## When Storykit wins, when RecruitmentAds wins

Neither tool publishes for you, so judge them on what lands in your hands: a content piece and its channel variants, or the ad set for one vacancy. On evaluation friction they are not close: RecruitmentAds' prices and pilot terms are on the page and the sample is built from your job link, while Storykit's pricing has been behind a meeting since 5 August 2026.

### When Storykit wins

You are buying for the whole company, not just hiring.

Storykit feeds marketing, comms, PR, events and employer branding from one governed platform. RecruitmentAds only makes recruitment ads, so it cannot consolidate that spend.

Your raw material is content, not vacancies.

Storykit Feeds turns blogs, press releases, news and newsletters into finished videos delivered to an inbox on a schedule; RecruitmentAds has nothing to say to a content stream with no job attached.

You need deep localisation or a done-for-you production line.

Storykit offers 10-language localisation with automatic AI subtitles and transcription across multi-brand, multi-market teams, and its Production line makes the output for you rather than asking you to build the capability in-house.

### When RecruitmentAds wins

Your unit of work is a vacancy.

Paste the job URL and the video formats plus matching statics for that role come back in one pass; Storykit has no vacancy or ATS ingestion, so even its own 'job descriptions are a video content goldmine' post starts with you copying the text in.

You need the visual-source decision governed per template.

AI-generated scenes from the job description, real approved employee photos in on-brand layouts, or approved assets only with no AI-generated people. Storykit's answer to visuals is a 3.5M-item stock library plus your uploaded brand media; there is no per-campaign choice between those modes.

You want to price it and see it on your own role before you meet anyone.

RecruitmentAds publishes its plans, credit allowances and 90-day pilot totals, and will build a sample from one of your live vacancies; Storykit's two commercial lines both end at 'Book a meeting'.

Who should pick what

Sole recruiter or small in-house team

Storykit is sold per seat or per production volume to teams building an internal content capability; a single recruiter is not the buyer it is priced or scoped for. RecruitmentAds fits here: paste the vacancy, take the exports, no editor and no design queue in between.

TA team inside a company with a marketing function

Storykit works if marketing already owns it for company-wide content and is happy to let recruitment queue inside the same tool. RecruitmentAds gives recruiters self-serve output inside a template marketing has locked: brand rules set once, per-vacancy creative without a review cycle.

Employer-branding-led buyer

Storykit is strong here: multi-brand and multi-market themes, guardrails, 10 languages, and an always-on content stream that goes well beyond open roles. RecruitmentAds covers the paid-and-organic ad layer for specific vacancies; it is not an employer-brand content programme in a box.

| What it is | Storykit is a Swedish enterprise text-to-video platform that turns any written source into on-brand videos, carousels, images and text posts. | RecruitmentAds.com is a recruitment ad production tool that turns a live vacancy into an on-brand video set plus matching statics for Meta and LinkedIn. |
| What it is for | Storykit is an adjacent creative tool: a whole-company content factory in which employer branding and recruitment is one of six named use cases. | RecruitmentAds is recruitment-native: hiring is the only use case, so the templates, formats and outputs are built around the vacancy. |
| Vacancy input | Storykit has no vacancy-URL or ATS ingestion: you paste or write the text yourself, job ads included, or upload an audio file it transcribes. Even its own 'job descriptions are a goldmine' post makes you bring the text. | RecruitmentAds accepts a job URL (or pasted text) and extracts the title, requirements, perks, logo, fonts and brand colours into your locked template. |
| Video output | Storykit's core output is script-based on-brand video, with channel-variant reformatting in a click. | RecruitmentAds outputs on-brand recruitment video in 9:16, 4:5 and 1:1 with AI voice-over generated from the job text, and several variants per vacancy for testing different hooks. |
| Other formats | Storykit produces carousels, static images and text posts alongside video. | RecruitmentAds includes matching static ads in the same credit, so video and image can be tested against each other on the same role. |
| Ad-set output | Storykit produces organic-social content pieces and their channel variants rather than a per-vacancy ad set; nothing stops you uploading a Storykit video as an ad, but you assemble the set yourself. | RecruitmentAds returns one vacancy as one finished set (every standard video format plus matching statics), sized for Meta and LinkedIn placement. |
| Publishing and distribution | Storykit publishes to no channel itself: Storykit Feeds delivers finished videos to an inbox of your choice, and its API embeds video creation inside other tools such as Slack. | RecruitmentAds is export-only too: you upload the MP4s and statics in your own Meta and LinkedIn accounts; it is not a publisher and does not buy media. |
| Visual-source choice | Storykit's visuals come from a 3.5M-item royalty-free library plus your own uploaded, approved brand media; it offers no per-campaign choice between AI-generated scenes, real employee photos and approved-assets-only. | RecruitmentAds makes the visual source an explicit choice per template: fully AI-generated from the job description, real employee photos in on-brand layouts, or approved assets only with no AI-generated people. |
| Brand governance | Storykit offers partial governance: brand colours, font and logo lockdown, per-brand and per-market themes, built-in guardrails and approved own-brand asset libraries, but no per-campaign visual-source choice. | RecruitmentAds locks the template, fonts, colours and approved asset library, and marketing sets which visual modes recruiters may use on each template. |
| Languages | Storykit moves between 10 major languages and adds automatic AI subtitles and transcription. | RecruitmentAds supports all languages for on-screen text and AI voice-over, chosen at export; it does not claim automatic subtitling or transcription. |
| ATS integration | Not published: Storykit names zero ATS connectors anywhere. Its API page's 'without leaving your ATS' line is an example workflow, not an integration list, as of 2026-08-05. | Not shipped: RecruitmentAds has no native ATS integration either; you paste or link the vacancy instead. |
| Pricing | Not published: Storykit pulled its public price plans behind sales between 2026-08-04 and 2026-08-05, leaving Platform (per seat) and Production (per volume) with a 'Book a meeting' CTA; the €149/month figure directories still quote is second-hand and unverifiable on the primary source. | Published: RecruitmentAds lists Starter, Custom and Scale prices, credit allowances and 90-day pilot totals on its pricing page, in EUR, GBP or USD by region. |
| How you evaluate it | Storykit's evaluation route starts with a meeting, since both commercial lines end in 'Book a meeting', and third-party sites report a free trial (second-hand, 2026-08-05). | RecruitmentAds can be evaluated before a conversation: read the published plans, request a sample built from one of your live vacancy URLs, then run a fixed 90-day pilot on real roles. |
| Best for | Storykit is best for enterprise and public-sector comms and marketing teams that want one governed content factory across marketing, comms and employer branding. | RecruitmentAds is best for in-house TA teams and agency or RPO partners that need per-vacancy ad creative without a design queue, inside brand rules marketing set once. |

## What most Storykit comparisons miss

Every Storykit alternative list still quotes €149 per month. That number is second-hand. On 4 August 2026 Storykit's /price-plans page showed public plans; on 5 August 2026 the same page showed two sales-led lines (Platform, priced on number of seats, and Production, priced on production volume) with no figures and 'Book a meeting' on both. If you are building a business case from a directory listing, you are quoting a price the vendor no longer shows. The second gap is what those lists compare Storykit to. G2 names Canva, Camtasia and Synthesia; other aggregators name PixVerse and Steve AI. Reasonable company for a video tool, but it means nobody asks the question a hiring team needs answered: which of these starts from the vacancy itself, and which one needs you to paste the job text in first.

## Switching from Storykit

### What changes

- The input changes. Storykit starts from text or audio you supply, or a script you write in the app; RecruitmentAds starts from the vacancy URL and reads the role itself.
- The output changes. Storykit hands you a content piece and its channel variants; RecruitmentAds hands you one vacancy's set (every standard video format plus matching statics), sized for Meta and LinkedIn.
- The unit of work changes. Scripts and content calendars stop being the organising idea; open roles start.

### What maps to what

- Your Storykit brand theme (colours, fonts, logo lockdown) maps to your locked RecruitmentAds template.
- Your uploaded, approved image, video and music library maps to your RecruitmentAds asset library, including the approved-assets-only mode.
- Storykit's recruitment script templates (Culture Spotlight, Meet Your Colleague, Quote From The Boss and the rest) map to RecruitmentAds variants per vacancy: lead with salary, requirements or culture from the same job post.
- Storykit's reformat-for-any-channel step maps to the format set RecruitmentAds exports in one pass.

### What you keep

- Your ad accounts and publishing workflow. Both tools export files, so nothing about how you post or run campaigns changes.
- Your employee-photo consent process. RecruitmentAds uses approved photography inside your existing process rather than replacing it.
- Everything Storykit already made. Those MP4s are yours, so there is no migration to run and no library to port.
- Storykit itself, if marketing wants it. The two tools address different jobs, and a company can run both without overlap.

## Evaluate RecruitmentAds on your own vacancy

Comparison tables only take you so far. Send one live vacancy URL and we build the set from it: video in every standard format, matching statics, in your brand template with the visual mode you choose. Prices, credit allowances and 90-day pilot totals are published, so you can scope the decision before you book anything.

## Questions buyers actually ask

Is Storykit a recruitment tool?

Storykit is a general content platform with a genuine recruitment surface. Employer branding and recruitment is one of six named use cases, with 11 recruitment script templates, a recruitment blog cluster and recruitment case studies it publishes itself. What it is not is recruitment-native: there is no vacancy ingestion, no ATS connector and no per-vacancy ad-set output, because hiring is one audience among marketing, comms, PR and events.

Can Storykit make a video from a job URL?

No. Storykit's inputs are text you supply (pasted, or written as a script in the app) or an audio file it transcribes for you. No URL or vacancy ingestion appears anywhere on its site as of 5 August 2026. Its own September 2025 post on turning job descriptions into recruitment videos still starts with you copying the description in. RecruitmentAds takes the vacancy URL and reads the title, requirements, perks and brand assets from it.

How much does Storykit cost, and how does that compare?

Storykit is quote-only. Its price-plans page showed public plans on 4 August 2026 and, by 5 August 2026, showed only Platform (priced on seats) and Production (priced on production volume), both with a 'Book a meeting' CTA. Directory sites still report €149 per month, second-hand and unverifiable on the primary source. RecruitmentAds publishes Starter, Custom and Scale prices, credit allowances and 90-day pilot totals, so you can cost the evaluation yourself before any conversation.

Does either tool integrate with our ATS?

Neither, honestly. Storykit names no ATS connectors anywhere; the line about creating recruitment videos without leaving your ATS appears on its API page as an example workflow. RecruitmentAds has no native ATS integration either; you paste the vacancy or link it. Any vendor claiming otherwise in this category is worth asking for named connectors.

We already use Storykit for marketing content. Do we have to replace it?

Usually not. Storykit earns its place as a company-wide content engine, and RecruitmentAds covers a narrower job: turning each open role into an ad set for Meta and LinkedIn. Both export files rather than publishing, so running them side by side costs you no integration work and no migration. The question to settle is who owns which output, not which tool survives.
