VONQRecruitmentAds

VONQ alternative (2026): VONQ vs RecruitmentAds

VONQ runs the hiring funnel around the ad: EQO writes the job post, distributes it across 5,000+ channels, buys the media programmatically, then screens, interviews and scores the applicants, all natively embedded in 85+ applicant tracking systems. RecruitmentAds does one narrower job: it turns a single vacancy URL into a finished, on-brand ad-set (a recruitment video in every standard format plus matching statics) that you or your agency run in your own Meta and LinkedIn accounts, with the visual source your choice per template: AI visuals, real employee photos, or approved assets only. RecruitmentAds is also the easier of the two to evaluate upfront: plan tiers and 90-day pilot terms are published, and you can see output on your own job link before a sales call, while EQO's AI-generated creative had no published example anywhere we could find on 5 August 2026.

What each tool is

VONQ

VONQ is a Rotterdam-based job-marketing company, majority-owned by the private-equity fund Capital D since October 2019, that rebranded its portfolio as EQO on 1 July 2026. EQO is presented as six stages (Write, Attract, Distribute, Screen, Interview, Score) natively embedded in 85+ applicant tracking systems through its HAPI integration, with AI-written job descriptions in 30+ languages, distribution across 5,000+ media channels, 3.3M+ jobs distributed monthly, programmatic media buying with real-time budget optimisation, and AI screening and interviews that return competency-scored, ranked shortlists to the ATS. It sells two ways: Recruit+, a subscription that runs inside your ATS, and CPA+, where you pay per AI-screened applicant. The Attract stage bundles expert-led employer-branding campaigns, targeted distribution and, per its product page, AI-generated video and image social creative for LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok and Instagram.

RecruitmentAds

RecruitmentAds is an AI recruitment-creative tool. Paste a vacancy URL and it returns a finished on-brand ad-set for that role (a recruitment video in 9:16, 4:5, 1:1 and landscape plus matching static versions) built inside a locked brand template, with AI voice-over and versions in any language. Marketing decides per template whether recruiters may use AI visuals generated from the job description, real employee photos placed in on-brand layouts, or approved assets only with no AI people. It does not distribute jobs, does not buy media, does not screen candidates and does not integrate natively with your ATS: you or your agency upload the exports to your own Meta and LinkedIn campaigns.

When VONQ wins, and when RecruitmentAds wins

Both companies say they produce recruitment ad creative. Only one of them lets you price the evaluation and see the output on your own vacancy before a sales conversation: RecruitmentAds publishes plan tiers, credit volumes and 90-day pilot terms, and builds a sample from your job link. VONQ's Recruit+ subscription carries no published numbers, and the only hard price in its ecosystem (CPA+) sits in a partner's help centre and buys screened applicants, not creative.

When VONQ wins

You want the jobs distributed and the applicants screened, not creative files handed to you

VONQ's product is the funnel: 5,000+ channels, multiposting including your own media contracts, programmatic buying with real-time budget reallocation, 3.3M+ jobs distributed monthly, then AI screening over chat, voice, SMS, WhatsApp and email, structured first-round interviews and scored shortlists delivered into the ATS. RecruitmentAds makes an ad-set and stops. If what you need is applicants in the ATS rather than files in a folder, VONQ is the right shape and we are the wrong one.

You want it inside the ATS your recruiters already live in

VONQ claims native embedding in 85+ applicant tracking systems via HAPI and names iCIMS, SmartRecruiters, SAP SuccessFactors, Greenhouse, Lever, JazzHR, Tellent/Recruitee, HiBob, PageUp, Abacus Umantis and Factorial. RecruitmentAds has no native ATS integration at all: a vacancy enters by URL or pasted text. For a team whose rule is "nothing outside the ATS", that gap is disqualifying and we would rather say so here than on a call.

You would rather buy outcomes than tooling, or you need a 20-year enterprise procurement story

CPA+ lets a buyer pay per AI-screened applicant (EUR 460 per campaign including 20 completed applicants, EUR 23 per applicant if fewer arrive, nothing if none do, per partner Tellent's help centre), which is a commercial model no creative tool offers. Behind it sits a company with over 20 years of market expertise, private-equity backed, supporting "more than 350 enterprise and staffing customers across Europe, North America, and APAC" including Employ, Adecco, Danone, SoftwareOne, PwC and Randstad, and recognised as a Strategic Leader in the Fosway 9-Grid for Talent Acquisition. RecruitmentAds publishes no analyst placement and no reference base of that size.

When RecruitmentAds wins

You need the ad-set for a live vacancy this week, from the job link

Paste the vacancy URL and RecruitmentAds returns a finished creative set for that role: the recruitment video in 9:16, 4:5, 1:1 and landscape, matching statics for a video-versus-image test, AI voice-over, and as many variants of the same vacancy as you want to test. VONQ's equivalent is a product-page claim from July 2026: on 5 August 2026 no example of EQO's generated video or image creative was published on vonq.com, in its launch press release, or in the analyst and trade coverage of the launch, and the creative stage is marked "Coming soon" in the HAPI embed.

You want the visual source to be a decision your brand team makes, not a vendor default

RecruitmentAds asks which visuals a template may use: AI-generated scenes built from the job description, your real employees' photos placed in on-brand layouts, or approved assets only with no AI people at all, and marketing locks that choice per template. VONQ publishes no visual-source mechanics anywhere on its Attract or HAPI pages: no employee-photo path, no approved-asset library, no way to forbid synthetic people. Its creative is described only as AI-generated, and its employer branding is expert-led services.

You want your locked template, fonts and approved photos on every export, in your own ad account

The brand template is locked, so a recruiter shipping a role at 4pm cannot pull random stock or drift the fonts; Custom and Scale plans include custom on-brand templates. The files are the deliverable: you download the video formats and matching statics and upload them to your own Meta or LinkedIn campaigns, so budget, targeting and channel mix stay with you or your agency. Whether VONQ's generated creative can leave its platform and run in your own ad account is not published either way (checked 5 August 2026).

Who should pick what

Sole recruiter

A sole recruiter is not VONQ's buyer (EQO is sold as an enterprise subscription inside an ATS or as outcome-priced campaigns for staffing firms), and RecruitmentAds' published plans and 90-day pilot are the cheaper way to get a real, on-brand ad for one live role this week.

TA team

For a TA team of 5–50 the honest split is funnel against craft: if the pain is getting hundreds of requisitions distributed and pre-screened without leaving the ATS, VONQ; if the pain is that every vacancy needs a video and static set nobody has time to build, RecruitmentAds. Running both is a normal outcome, because they do not overlap below the ad.

Employer-branding-led buyer

An employer-branding-led buyer should compare the two on who holds the visuals: VONQ's employer branding is an expert-led service with no published brand-governance or asset-control mechanics, while RecruitmentAds locks the template and makes the visual source (AI visuals, real employee photos, or approved assets only) an explicit per-template setting.

ComparisonVONQRecruitmentAds
What it isVONQ is a 20-year Dutch job-marketing incumbent, rebranded as the six-stage EQO "agentic talent attraction platform" in July 2026, centred on job distribution, programmatic media buying and AI screening.RecruitmentAds is an AI creative tool that turns one vacancy URL into a finished on-brand recruitment ad-set (video in every standard format plus matching statics) for your team to run on Meta and LinkedIn.
Where the product's weight sitsVONQ claims direct creative competition through EQO Attract, but everything it publishes in depth (5,000+ channels, 3.3M+ jobs a month, screening, interviews, scoring) sits in distribution and funnel automation.RecruitmentAds is creative only: it produces the ad-set and stops, with no job distribution, no media buying and no candidate screening anywhere in the product.
How a vacancy gets inVONQ ingests job and requisition data from the ATS via its HAPI embed or from the VONQ platform; no vacancy-URL ingestion is described on any of its pages.RecruitmentAds starts from a vacancy URL or pasted job text and pulls the title, requirements, perks, logo, fonts and brand colours into your locked template.
Video outputVONQ's AI-generated video creative is claimed but unverified: as of 5 August 2026 no example output was published on its site, in its launch press release or in the analyst and trade coverage of the launch, and it is labelled "Coming soon" in the 85+ ATS embedded channel.RecruitmentAds generates a recruitment video per vacancy with AI voice-over and exports 9:16, 4:5, 1:1 and landscape cuts from the same job link, with published examples on its recruitment-video page.
Static adsVONQ's AI-generated image creative shares the same status as its video: claimed on vonq.com/attract/ with no published examples, and "Coming soon" through the HAPI embed.RecruitmentAds includes matching static versions of the same concept in every finished creative set, so a video-versus-image test comes out of one credit.
Can you run the creative in your own ad accountVONQ describes its creative inside its own programmatic buying and CPA+ campaigns; whether the generated files can be exported and run in your own Meta or LinkedIn account is not published either way (checked 5 August 2026).RecruitmentAds is export-first: you download the MP4s and matching statics and upload them to your own Meta or LinkedIn campaigns, and programmatic Meta workflows or deeper integrations are Enterprise-plan options.
Visual-source choiceVONQ publishes no visual-source options: nothing about employee photos, approved-asset libraries or customer asset ingestion on its Attract or HAPI pages; EQO's creative is described only as AI-generated.RecruitmentAds makes the visual source a per-template setting: AI visuals built from the job description, real employee photos placed in on-brand layouts, or approved assets only with no AI people.
Brand governanceVONQ publishes no brand-governance mechanics at all (no locked templates, approval workflows or approved-asset controls), and its employer branding is an expert-led service, which puts governance with an agency rather than in the product.RecruitmentAds locks the brand template so recruiters export inside marketing's rules, ships custom on-brand templates on the Custom and Scale plans, and puts user roles and governance on the Enterprise plan.
Job distribution and media buyingVONQ distributes and buys: 5,000+ media channels, multiposting including your own contracts and its organic partner network, rule-based programmatic advertising with real-time budget optimisation, and 3.3M+ jobs distributed monthly.RecruitmentAds does not post jobs and does not buy media; the ad-set is handed over and the budget, targeting and channel mix stay with you or your agency.
Screening, interviews and shortlistsVONQ screens below the ad: AI screening conversations over chat, voice, SMS, WhatsApp and email, structured AI first-round interviews, competency-scored ranked shortlists, and CPA+ dossiers with resume, transcript and score delivered into the ATS.RecruitmentAds does nothing below the ad (no screening, interviewing or scoring), so candidates go wherever your ad points them, in your existing process.
ATS integrationVONQ claims native embeds in 85+ applicant tracking systems via HAPI but names only 12 of them, including iCIMS, SmartRecruiters, SAP SuccessFactors, Greenhouse, Lever, JazzHR, Tellent/Recruitee, HiBob, PageUp and Factorial; the full list is not published anywhere we could find.RecruitmentAds has no native ATS or Workday integration today; vacancies enter by URL or pasted text, so any ATS step stays manual in your process.
Languages and marketsVONQ writes job descriptions in 30+ languages, runs its site in English, Dutch and German, has HAPI screening live in English, German, French, Spanish and Italian with Swedish, Finnish and Norwegian slated for Q3 2026, and invoices in GBP, USD or EUR.RecruitmentAds exports on-screen text and AI voice-over in any language from the same job post and the same locked template, and prices in EUR, GBP or USD by region.
Pricing and how you evaluate itVONQ publishes two commercial models by name (Recruit+ as an ATS-embedded subscription with modular pricing, and CPA+ priced per AI-screened applicant), but the only hard number, EUR 460 per campaign including 20 completed applicants, appears in partner Tellent's help centre rather than on vonq.com, and Recruit+ carries no published figures.RecruitmentAds publishes its employer and agency plan tiers, credit volumes and 90-day pilot terms on recruitmentads.com/pricing, so you can price the evaluation before you book a call.
Best forVONQ is best for enterprise TA teams and staffing agencies that want distribution, screening and outcome-priced applicant delivery embedded inside their existing ATS.RecruitmentAds is best for in-house TA and employer-brand teams, and staffing agencies, that need a finished on-brand ad-set per vacancy while media buying and budget stay in their own hands.
Core marketVONQ's core market is the Netherlands and Europe (Benelux, DACH and the UK), with US reach through ATS partnerships including Employ (JazzHR and Lever), iCIMS and Greenhouse.RecruitmentAds sells to EU, UK and US buyers with regional pricing in EUR, GBP and USD, and localises the same creative into any language rather than staffing regional teams.
Vendor scale and validationVONQ claims over 20 years of market expertise and more than 350 enterprise and staffing customers across Europe, North America and APAC, is recognised as a Fosway 9-Grid Strategic Leader for Talent Acquisition, has been majority-owned by Capital D since October 2019, and employs roughly 117 people per Getlatka (secondhand, 2026) with no first-party headcount published.RecruitmentAds publishes neither a headcount nor an analyst placement; if a two-decade reference base and analyst validation are procurement requirements, VONQ meets them and RecruitmentAds does not.

What most VONQ comparisons miss

VONQ's generative creative is one month old and, on the evidence published so far, not yet the thing that makes VONQ formidable. vonq.com/attract/ says "AI generates social recruiting creative · video and image · built and shipped from one workflow" (read 5 August 2026), but on that date we could find no example of a generated video or image ad anywhere: not on vonq.com, not in the EQO launch press release, not in Aptitude Research's launch analysis, and not in Chad & Cheese's launch recap, both of which praise the screening demo without mentioning generative creative. In the channel that is VONQ's real advantage, the 85+ ATS embeds, the stage is explicitly labelled roadmap: "EQO HAPI Attract - Coming soon. Recruitment marketing and AI-generated campaign creative... AI-generated campaign briefs, video, image, and social ad creative" (vonq.com/eqo-hapi/, 5 August 2026). None of that makes VONQ a weak product: the distribution, screening and scoring layers are real, published in detail, and the right buy for a team that wants the funnel handled. It does mean that if you are choosing a vendor for the creative itself, the honest comparison today is between a shipped output and a launch claim, and you should ask VONQ for a demo of the Attract stage before treating the two as equivalent.

Switching from VONQ to RecruitmentAds

What changes

  • Creative becomes a per-vacancy deliverable instead of a campaign by-product. Somebody pastes a job link and gets a video and static set they can approve, edit and re-export, rather than briefing a service or accepting whatever a media workflow produces.
  • The visual source becomes an explicit setting (AI visuals from the job description, real employee photos in on-brand layouts, or approved assets only) instead of an undocumented vendor default.
  • The files land in your ad account. You upload to your own Meta or LinkedIn campaigns, which means someone on your side or at your agency owns budget and targeting for whatever you run outside VONQ.
  • Nothing below the ad moves. RecruitmentAds has no screening, interviews or scoring and does not pretend to; if you drop VONQ entirely, you drop those too.
  • Job distribution stays wherever it is. RecruitmentAds does not post to job boards or aggregators, so your multiposting and programmatic setup is unaffected either way.

What maps to what

  • Your EQO or ATS job data → a vacancy URL or pasted job text pushed into your locked RecruitmentAds template.
  • VONQ's per-platform social formats for LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok and Instagram → RecruitmentAds exports in 9:16, 4:5, 1:1 and landscape plus matching statics from one job link.
  • VONQ's 30+ job-description languages → RecruitmentAds on-screen text and AI voice-over in any language from the same template.
  • VONQ's expert-led employer-branding campaigns → your brand rules encoded once in a locked template, with custom on-brand templates on the Custom and Scale plans.
  • VONQ's Attract creative feeding its own media buying → finished files feeding your own Meta and LinkedIn campaigns.

What you keep

  • Your ATS and its HAPI embed, untouched: RecruitmentAds does not connect to your ATS, so there is nothing to migrate or disconnect.
  • Your job distribution, media contracts and programmatic setup, whether that stays with VONQ or anyone else.
  • Your Meta and LinkedIn ad accounts, pixels, audiences and historical campaign data, because the ads run in your accounts.
  • Your career site, your approved photography and your existing employee-consent process.

Evaluate RecruitmentAds on your own vacancy

Take a live role (ideally one you are already distributing through VONQ) and see what comes back. Bring the job link to a 15-minute demo and we build the ad-set on that vacancy: the video in every standard format, matching statics, your fonts and colours, and your choice of AI visuals, real employee photos or approved assets only. Plan tiers, credit volumes and the 90-day pilot terms are published, so you can decide whether it is worth an hour of your time before you speak to anyone.

Questions buyers actually ask

What does VONQ actually do, and is it a creative tool or a job-distribution platform?

Distribution first, and a lot more of it than creative. Under the EQO branding it launched on 1 July 2026, VONQ writes job descriptions in 30+ languages, distributes them across 5,000+ media channels with programmatic buying, and then screens, interviews and scores applicants back into your ATS, natively embedded in 85+ applicant tracking systems. Its Attract stage also claims AI-generated video and image social creative, but that claim is one month old, has no published example anywhere we could find on 5 August 2026, and is labelled "Coming soon" in the ATS-embedded channel. RecruitmentAds is the reverse shape: creative only, no distribution, no media buying, no screening.

Does EQO Attract really generate recruitment video today?

VONQ says so on vonq.com/attract/: "AI generates social recruiting creative · video and image · built and shipped from one workflow", for LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok and Instagram. What we could not find on 5 August 2026 is any output: no gallery, no screenshots, no case study, nothing in the EQO launch press release, and no mention of generative creative in Aptitude Research's or Chad & Cheese's coverage of that launch. On the HAPI embed pages the same capability is written as "Coming soon". We have not seen a demo, so we make no claim about what it produces or how good it is. Ask VONQ to generate a video from one of your own vacancies on the call, and ask which channels it is live in.

What are the real alternatives to VONQ?

It depends which part of VONQ you are replacing. For distribution and programmatic media, VONQ is normally named alongside Joveo, Recruitics, Appcast and PandoLogic. For the always-on social-recruiting bundle, Adway, Wonderkind and HireLab are the closer comparisons. For the creative itself (turning a vacancy into on-brand video and static ads), RecruitmentAds is the closer comparison. Treat generic software lists with care: on 5 August 2026 G2's snippet named Lever, Phenom Applied AI and iCIMS, which are ATS and talent-experience products that do not make ad creative, and Capterra's alternatives module surfaced Looker and Marketo Engage.

How much does VONQ cost, and how do I compare it with RecruitmentAds?

VONQ publishes two models by name and one number. Recruit+ is an ATS-embedded subscription with "modular pricing" and no published figures; CPA+ is priced per AI-screened applicant, and the only hard price we found (EUR 460 per campaign including 20 completed applicants, EUR 23 per applicant beyond that, LinkedIn only) lives in partner Tellent's help centre rather than on vonq.com (verified 5 August 2026). Note what that price buys: screened applicants, not creative. RecruitmentAds publishes plan tiers, credit volumes and 90-day pilot terms on its pricing page and will build a sample from your job link, so you can price the evaluation and see the output before a sales conversation. When you do get a VONQ quote, ask for subscription and media spend as two separate numbers.

We use VONQ inside our ATS for distribution. Would RecruitmentAds replace it?

No. RecruitmentAds has no native ATS integration, does not post jobs, does not buy media and does not screen candidates, so it cannot replace an embedded distribution and screening workflow. It replaces the part where someone has to make the creative: one vacancy URL in, a finished on-brand video and static set out, with the visual source (AI visuals, real employee photos, or approved assets only) locked to what your brand allows. Keeping VONQ for the funnel and using RecruitmentAds for the ad-set is a normal outcome of this comparison.

Is VONQ the same thing as EQO, HAPI, VONQ Job Post and CPA+?

They are all VONQ. EQO is the platform brand launched on 1 July 2026, covering six stages: Write, Attract, Distribute, Screen, Interview and Score. HAPI is the Hiring API that embeds those stages natively inside 85+ applicant tracking systems. VONQ Job Post and VONQ Job Marketing are the legacy multiposting products, whose pages were still live alongside the EQO stage pages on 5 August 2026. CPA+ is the outcome-priced option where you pay per AI-screened applicant, launched in June 2025 with LinkedIn and Employ and available first inside JazzHR and Lever. If your ATS shows you a "VONQ" panel, that is the HAPI embed.

How we compared these two tools

Every VONQ capability, price and company fact on this page was read from vonq.com, its EQO launch press release, its partner documentation and third-party coverage on 5 August 2026, and is presented as VONQ's published claim rather than as a tested result; we do not have a VONQ account and we have not seen an EQO demo. Where a claim could not be corroborated anywhere, we say that, with the date. Review scores, headcount, revenue and founding year are secondhand from third-party databases and labelled where they appear. RecruitmentAds facts come from our own published product and pricing pages.

  • Ask to see one finished ad. For any vendor whose creative generation is new, ask for a video and a static that were generated for a real vacancy (not a workflow diagram or a stage page), and ask which of its channels the feature is live in, since embedded-ATS and direct products can ship on different schedules.
  • Ask whether the creative can leave the platform. If media buying is bundled, ask explicitly whether you can download the files and run them in your own ad account, and what happens to the creative if you stop the programme.
  • Separate the software number from the media number. An outcome price per applicant and a subscription that includes distribution cannot be compared with software priced per finished creative set until both are broken out.
  • Ask where the visuals come from, and what you can forbid. AI-generated people, stock, a career-site crawl or your own approved photography are different legal conversations. Ask whether the vendor can lock the modes your brand or works council will not accept.
