Best for: Shop floor hiring where the reader is choosing between three shops on the same high street.
Sales Assistant at {Company}, {City}. Part time, {pay rate} an hour.
{Company} is hiring a sales assistant for our {City} shop. {Pay rate} an hour, paid weekly, plus a staff discount on everything in the shop from your first shift rather than after a probation period.
A shift is four things: opening or closing the floor, serving on the till, keeping stock priced and facing, and taking the delivery in on {delivery days}. Two of you are on the floor at all times, so the shop is never resting on one person.
You need to turn up when the rota says, talk to strangers for a whole shift without it wearing you down, and lift a stock box on your own. You do not need to have worked in a shop before. Hospitality, care and call centre work all teach the same three things.
Hours are {number} a week across {days}, the rota is published two weeks ahead, and it is one weekend in three. Holiday is {number} days plus bank holidays, and nobody has to fight for December.
To apply, send a message to {email} saying when you could start. We answer everybody inside five working days, and that includes the people we are not taking forward.
Why it works. The rate, the rota horizon and the weekend pattern are all above the duties, which is the order a shift worker actually reads in. The closing promise puts a deadline on the reply, which costs nothing and is the thing most retail postings never offer.
