Is this about hiring marketers, or about marketing your jobs? This page lists agencies that market your jobs.

Recruitment marketing agencies

These are the agencies employers hire to plan, make and run the campaigns and media that fill roles: creative, job board and social spend, programmatic, careers sites and reporting. Recruitment agencies that place marketers are a different business and are not on this page.

Questions and answers

Questions about recruitment marketing agencies

What is recruitment marketing?

Recruitment marketing is the work of attracting candidates to a job before they apply: the ads, the content, the careers site, the media buying and the follow-up that bring people to a vacancy. It borrows the tools of consumer marketing and points them at hiring. Employer branding is the longer-term layer under it; recruitment marketing is the campaign layer that fills named roles.

What is a recruitment marketing agency?

An outside firm that plans and runs that attraction work for an employer. Typical services: campaign strategy, creative, job board and social media buying, programmatic advertising, careers site pages and reporting. It sells to employers and is paid for services. It does not find and place candidates itself. Some firms on this page also sell employer branding, and some belong to larger recruitment groups; the profile says which.

What is the difference between a recruitment marketing agency and a staffing agency?

A staffing or recruitment agency finds candidates and places them, and is paid a fee per placement or a margin on contract hours. A recruitment marketing agency makes and runs the advertising that brings candidates to you, and is paid for that work. Google mixes the two under the same search term. This page lists only the second kind.

What is the difference between a recruitment marketing agency and an employer branding agency?

An employer branding agency builds the brand: the research, the employee value proposition and the creative system. A recruitment marketing agency runs the campaigns and media that use it to fill roles. Many firms do both, and a large employer often buys the brand work first and the campaign work on a retainer. Firms that publish both practices appear on both pages here.

How do recruitment marketing agencies charge?

Three models are common: a monthly retainer, a project fee for a campaign or a careers site, and a commission or markup on media spend, sometimes combined. Almost none publishes a rate card, so we invent no figures. Each profile records the model the agency itself publishes and says not published when it publishes none. Ask every firm you brief which model applies and whether media is billed at cost.

How do I get listed, or claim my agency's profile?

Listing is free and editorial, so nobody can buy a place. If your agency meets the three rules, tell us and we research it like any other. If you are already listed, claim the profile with a work email on your agency domain. A claim lets you correct facts and add your logo, contact, budget band, availability and more work. It never changes your position on this page.
